Pick your scenario
Work in groups of three or four. Choose one scenario together. Ten questions will appear one at a time with a 90 second timer for each. Discuss, then tap next when your group is ready.
Public criticism
During a team meeting, a colleague criticizes your work in front of everyone. You believe some of the criticism is unfair, and you immediately feel defensive.
Scenario 2Repeated interruption
You are presenting an important idea, but another person repeatedly interrupts and talks over you.
Scenario 3Unexpected change
You have spent considerable time preparing for a project. At the last minute, your manager changes the direction and asks you to start over.
Scenario 4No response
You send an important message and receive no reply. As time passes, you begin assuming that the person is ignoring or dismissing you.
Scenario 5Mistake under pressure
You make an error that affects other people. Someone points it out abruptly while you are already feeling stressed.
Scenario 6Challenging feedback
You receive feedback that conflicts with how you see yourself. Your first impulse is to explain why the other person is wrong.
